It's not often that I get to come across a 42-year-old horse. I see this horse every time I go to Blue Moon Farm in Sheridan, Illinois. The average age of the horses at the barn is late-teens or early-twenties.
Most are still working at the level that they are comfortable with. It's wonderful to see these horses serving a purpose and living out their senior years being happy and healthy!
